The Secretariat has received a Note Verbale dated 8 August 2006 from the Permanent Mission of Finland, attaching a new Joint Action adopted by the Council of the European Union on 12 June 2006 on support for IAEA activities in the areas of nuclear security and verification as part of the EU Strategy against Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
