Within the efforts of the Asia and the Pacific Division for the preparation of the Technical Cooperation Programme for the TC cycle 2014-2015, a meeting was held from 6 to 8 March 2013 in Vienna to discuss some of the ARASIA proposed TC project that were positively screened and recommended for further development for the TCP cycle 2014-2015. Three ARASIA proposed projects needed a pre-project assistance and this meeting was meant to assist ARASIA States parties in the development of these project proposals. ?The project proposals that were the focus of this meeting are nuclear medicine; soil and water and water resource management. ?The meeting was attended by all project counterparts from the ARASIA States Parties, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. During this three-day meeting the project counterparts with the assistance of the concerned Technical Officers and the Programme Management Officers successfully produced complete drafts for the project designs. ?The draft design will go through further internal reviews and revisions in the next few months before they are included in the 2014-2015 Technical Cooperation Programme that will be submitted to the Technical Assistance and Cooperation Committee (TACC) in November 2013.
