Press Arrangements for IAEA Board of Governors Meeting, 24 January 2014

The IAEA Board of Governors will convene a meeting at the Agency's Headquarters starting at 10:00 CET on Friday, 24 January 2014 in Boardroom C in the C-Building, in the Vienna International Centre (VIC).

The Director General will consult with the Board regarding the request by Iran and the E3/EU+3 for the Agency to undertake monitoring and verification of nuclear-related measures in relation to the Joint Plan of Action agreed on 24 November 2013 in Geneva.

The Board of Governors meeting is closed to the press.

Press Conference

Director General Yukiya Amano will open the meeting with an introductory statement. His statement will be released to journalists after delivery and posted on the IAEA website.

Director General Amano is also expected to hold a News Conference at 14:30 CET, 24 January 2014, in the Press Room of the M-Building.

Live video streaming of the News Conference will be available online from 14:30 (no login needed) and available for downloading after the Conference.

Photo-Op:

There will be a photo opportunity at the beginning of the Board session.

Press Working Area:

The Press Room on the M-Building's ground floor will be available as a press working area starting from 08:30 on 24 January 2014.

Accreditation:

Journalists with permanent accreditation to the VIC need no further credentials. We encourage those journalists who do not yet have permanent accreditation, to request it at UNIS Vienna.
