The objectives of this course are:

• Discuss theoretical and practical information on the biology, indications, diagnosis and current therapeutic options for the treatment of Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETS)
• Demonstrate a framework for the integration of Peptide Receptors Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) into current practice of conventional cancer treatment modalities
• Prepare cancer care facilities in IAEA Member States to incorporate diagnostic imaging and PRRT into their treatment options for patients with NETS
• Recommend multidisciplinary teams in IAEA Member States to implement this novel therapy in a safe and effective manner for the treatment of NETS
• Integrate PRRT in the clinical practice through the use of standardized treatment protocols
