Name in full: Mauro Namías, MSc , ENGR

Mauro Namías is the current Head of Medical Physics at Nuclear Diagnostic Center Foundation (FCDN), Buenos Aires, Argentina. He graduated from Instituto Balseiro in 2003 and was trained in nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging physics in Argentina. He has also served as a member of the Advisory Council on Medical, Industrial and Research uses of radioisotopes and ionizing radiation uses (CAAR) of the Nuclear Regulatory Agency (ARN) in Argentina since 2019.

He has published 13 peer-reviewed papers. His research interests are quantitative imaging, advanced image processing and internal dosimetry.
