The Webinar aims to:

• Raise awareness of national arrangements needed for an effective medical EPR programme in line with ?the IAEA General Safety Requirements Preparedness and Response for a Nuclear or Radiological Emergency (GSR Part 7);
  ?
• Raise awareness of the role of the IAEA and how it can help countries better prepare to protect emergency workers and helpers in a nuclear or radiological emergency;
  ?
• Introduce a recommended national framework for protecting emergency workers and helpers in a nuclear or radiological emergency, based on international safety standards; and
  ?
• Discuss the abovementioned framework and its impact on existing national arrangements.
