Review Meetings are held every three years, in accordance with Article 21(3) of the Convention, and provide the opportunity to review the National Reports of all Contracting Parties.

The rules of procedure and financial rules (rule 7) require each Contracting Party participating in the Review Meeting to be represented by one delegate, who may be accompanied by such alternate representatives, experts and advisers, as required. The languages of the Plenary Sessions of the Review Meetings are Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish, unless otherwise decided by the Contracting Parties at the Organizational Meeting.

The Review Meeting consists of three main parts: the Opening Plenary Session, the Country Group Sessions and the Final Plenary Session.

Greening

To demonstrate its commitment to sustainability, the IAEA will organize this conference as a 'green meeting' according to the guidelines of the Austrian Ecolabel.

There will be a focus on the areas of paper smart documentation, waste reduction and recycling, and environmentally friendly catering.
