Background

The IAEA Safety Guide No. GS-G-3.1 Application of the Management System for Facilities and Activities is in revision process as DS 513 Leadership, Management and Culture for Safety. The text of future safety guide is prepared for preliminary consultation with Member States.

Objectives

• To provide information on status and content of the draft text of DS 513 Leadership, Management and Culture for Safety
• To discuss draft text of DS 513 Leadership, Management and Culture for Safety and to get feedback from participants of the Technical Meeting
• To get insights and improvement proposals for further development of the mentioned safety guide

Target Audience

• Middle management working in any nuclear facility or organization executing nuclear activities
• Experts from any nuclear facility or organization executing nuclear activities working in the area of Leadership, Management and Culture for Safety

Venue

The event will be held at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) where the IAEA’s Headquarters are located. Participants must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
