The 35-member IAEA Board of Governors will convene a regular meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, 6 October 2008, in the IAEA Boardroom, C04, in the Agency′s Headquarters, Vienna International Centre.

The meeting will take up resolutions and decisions from the IAEA General Conference which concluded on the weekend. The board will elect a Chairman and two Vice-Chairmen.

Eleven new board members will be participating for the first time.

The meeting is closed to the press.

Photo-Op:

There will be a photo opportunity at the beginning of the session. Camera crews should arrive at IAEA headquarters by 10:00 a.m. and proceed to the Boardroom on C04. Positions in the Boardroom must be taken by 10:15 a.m.
