To strengthen Indonesia's competitiveness in food exports by enhancing food safety and security, overcoming phytosanitary restrictions on trade in fresh products due to the risk of exporting viable plant pests by 2025, and ensuring food safety of frozen foods using irradiation as a non-thermal treatment to enable trade in seafood products by 2026, and to reach 800 tonnes per year of irradiated food products by 2025.
