Regional Webinar for ASEAN Countries on Nuclear Security Detection Architecture: Planning, Implementing and Evaluating Detection Operations
Background
The threat related to criminal or intentional unauthorized acts involving nuclear or other radioactive material out of regulatory control has long been a matter of national and international concern and cooperation. A State’s Nuclear Security Detection Architecture (NSDA) is the integrated set of nuclear security systems and measures, based on an appropriate legal and regulatory framework, needed to implement a national strategy for the detection of nuclear and other radioactive material out of regulatory control (MORC).
Detection operations aim to eliminate or mitigate the risks from MORC, and effective planning, implementation and evaluation is key to ensure the success and sustainability of these operations.
This webinar focuses on key elements regarding the planning, implementation and evaluation of detection operations for MORC.

Objectives
