The third session of the ‘IAEA and WPRO Webinar Series to Support the COVID-19 Testing Laboratories in the Asia and the Pacific Region’, provides information on the principles of quality assurance and quality control during the testing procedures in the molecular diagnostic laboratories. The second part of the webinar will discuss the interpretation of the results of the tests, as well as their epidemiological context of the obtained results.

Topics covered:

• Quality assurance and quality control for COVID-19 testing using real-time RT-PCR
• Interpretation of amplification results: technical interpretation of PCR results and epidemiological interpretation.
