Welcome to the IAEA Terrestrial Environmental Radiochemistry Laboratory (TERC). This lab provides expertise in training and support in dealing with radioactive, industrial and other pollution. It assists Member States’ laboratories in quality control and proper calibration by distributing reference materials on both stable isotope and radionuclide analysis. It is instrumental in preparing for emergencies by performing laboratory proficiency tests on analysis of low levels of radionuclides in the environment.
