With the widespread use of TV, video, online content and social media, the medium of radio can sometimes be forgotten. But one important way to reach IAEA Member States in the developing parts of the world where internet access or TV ownership is limited is through radio.
The IAEA not only produces its own podcasts, which are available online, but also works with UN Radio to raise awareness of the IAEA's technical cooperation (TC) programme activities and the issues that TC projects address.
UN Radio produces daily news content in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Kiswahili, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish, and weekly programmes in, Hindi, Urdu and Indonesian. Content can be downloaded from their website and used by broadcasters in their programmes or as a source of information and materials for individual reporters.
