RAS0063 National Liaison Officers / National Liaison Assistants Induction Workshop

This workshop took place from 27 to 31 August 2012 in Vienna, Austria. The objective of this course was to enhance a mutual understanding of the IAEA TC Programme for greater effectiveness and efficiency of the programme. In detail, the course aimed to learn from good practices and identify and address challenges and difficulties related to the planning and implementation of the TC programme in the region; to identify methods to improve the delivery of the TC programme and ensure smooth and timely implementation of the TC projects; and to provide an update on the review and assessment process, with emphasis on the time lines and milestones for the preparation of the TC cycle 2014-2015.

The new NLOs or NLAs participating in this workshop were from Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Iraq, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar, Vietnam and Yemen.
